Ice arenas are specialized indoor facilities designed to accommodate a range of ice-based activities, including hockey, figure skating, and recreational skating. Typically, an ice arena features at least one full-size rink, spectator seating, changing rooms, and maintenance equipment such as ice resurfacers. Due to the combination of cold temperatures, sharp skate blades, and high foot traffic, the materials and finishes used throughout an ice arena must be exceptionally durable.
